Our History
Scott Sandt is a 5th Degree Master in Tang Soo Do with decades of experience and a passion for teaching. He began his martial arts journey in 1992 and earned his first black belt in 1997. Scott trains and teaches alongside his sons, Lee and David Sandt — both black belts and instructors at Rock Solid Karate — building a family-centered training environment. He specializes in breaking techniques and practical self-defense, and also holds a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu.
Scott Sandt still teaches at Rock Solid Karate today, sharing the floor with his sons and a staff of Master-rank instructors.
The Legacy Continues
Training Alongside His Father
Lee Sandt is a dedicated martial arts instructor and part-owner of Rock Solid Karate with a lifelong commitment to the art. He began training at age seven and earned his black belt by 13, competing successfully for 15 years and remaining undefeated in regional sparring for a decade. Lee is a Tang Soo Do black belt and a Jiu Jitsu black belt. He has trained numerous world champions and helped build a supportive, performance-focused training environment for students of all ages.
As part-owner and Program Director, Lee Sandt builds the curriculum and the competition team side by side with Scott Sandt — one school, two generations, both on the mat.
